Virtual piano

This section is a complement to the Piano rolls page and contains some of my favourite piano rags that I have not yet been able to find as piano rolls.

All of these pieces have been sequenced by me, from original music scores. This is in fact a very similiar process to the one that was (and is) used to manually produce piano rolls. Instead of punching holes in a paper I register notes in a musical notation program. So if I'm as skilled in this work as the piano roll producers were in their work there shouldn't be much difference in the end result. Judge for yourself!

Note: Piano roll performances - even recorded ones - were often embellished and chords were complemented afterwards for a richer sound. This I haven't done here. All tunes are performed exactly as written.
